We're finishing off the design of our new site and should have things up and running soon.

What can you expect?

This site will cover various transport issues, initially focusing on road transport problems and solutions.

Don't expect the usual polarised arguments about speed cameras, fuel costs etc.

Some environmentalists correctly say that building more roads encourages more traffic, but congestion isn't environmentally friendly either. Existing "solutions" like better public transport provisions have been around for decades and haven't taken hold yet.

We believe that real solutions to congestion are possible:

• without a massive road building programme
• without big increases in the cost of motoring
